TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 15 - Gen9: Premium-class business ultrabook - TUXEDO Computers

The new InfinityBook Pro 15 combines a pleasantly large, bright 15.3-inch screen and high CPU performance with an outstanding mobility factor, consisting of an extremely thin and light all-aluminum body, a maximum allowed 99 Wh battery and flexible USB-C charging.

Less than 20 mm thick and 1.6 kg light while still providing a reasonable large screen, the InfinityBook Pro 15 is a greatly portable high-quality business ultrabook for job or private use with a lot of computing power for software developers or media professionals thanks to the choice of Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS.

All-aluminum chassis in ultra slim design

The completely redesigned InfinityBook Pro 15 manages to make a material change from its predecessor’s extremely lightweight plastic/magnesium alloy chassis to a more robust and haptically first-class all-aluminum enclosure while maintaining the nearly identical weight of only 1.6 kg and a fashionably ultra-slim design of less than 20 mm in total height!

Despite its compact footprint of just 342 x 238 mm, the 15.3-inch Linux notebook integrates a fully-fledged, low-noise keyboard with a four-column number pad and full-size arrow keys in offset position for better ergonomics. The glass precision touchpad measures 123 x 78 mm in size and allows for convenient navigation thanks to is smooth surface.

Two 7 mm thin fans and two heatpipes under the hood keep the high-mobility computer quiet and cool under low load or allow it to constantly draw up to 60 watts of power (Intel Core Ultra 7 155H) / 54 watts (AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS) at full fan speed.

Power efficient yet fast: CPU from Intel or AMD

In terms of the central processing unit, customers have the choice between two power-efficient yet fast upper mid-range CPUs from Intel and AMD:

While the Ryzen 7 8845HS relies on 8 cores manufactured in highly modern 4 nm architecture to process up to 16 threads simultaneously, the Core Ultra 7 155H from “Team Blue” counters the attack with 6 performance-optimized performance cores, 8 energy-saving efficiency cores and now also 2 particularly power-saving low-power efficiency cores for a total of 22 threads.

Despite or because of its very thin case design, the InfinityBook Pro 15 supplies Intel’s processing unit with up to 60 watts continuously at full fan speed; the AMD variant is limited to 54 watts by design.

Fast and power-saving integrated graphics for work and (light) play

Graphics calculations are done by graphics processors integrated into the CPUs in the form of the Intel Arc graphics or AMD Radeon 780M.

While the specifications differ quite a bit on paper (Intel: 8 cores | 2.25 GHz, AMD: 12 cores | 2.7 GHz), both power-saving GPUs perform on a similar level, deliver way more than enough speed for all everyday tasks and allow light casual gaming in usually low to medium details with Full HD resolution.

Bright high-res 15.3’’ screen and optional ANSI keyboard

The InfinityBook Pro 15 is equipped with a new 15.3-inch display, which closes the gap between the very compact but somewhat limited 14-inch and the larger 16-inch format.

With 2560x1600 pixels in a productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB color space coverage, the 330 x 207 mm big screen is suitable for sophisticated work and multimedia use, while the brightness of 500 nits ensures better legibility in bright indoor or outdoor environments.

The display lid can be tilted up to 180° for maximum flexibility for all types of laptop stands, while the privacy webcam shutter prevents unauthorized access to the 1080p webcam.

Speaking of flexibility: Besides our individual keyboard laser engraving service offered across all products, the InfinityBook Pro is available in two physical keyboard layouts:

• In dark silver-grey with ANSI keyboard

The InfinityBook Pro 15 aims to combine a pleasantly large screen with maximum mobility. Besides its ultra-light and thin form factor, the latter is ensured on the one hand by a 99 Wh battery - the maximum limit of what is allowed to be carried on an airplane - and on the other hand by the flexible USB-C Power Delivery standard (100 watts | 20 V / 5 A).

Speaking of ports: Up to 3 external monitors can be connected to the Linux notebook via Thunderbolt 4 (Intel) / USB4 (AMD), USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and HDMI 2.1. On the data side, 3x USB Type-A as well as a full-size card reader and a LAN port are on board.
