TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14
Gen9: Infinitely portable and still lightning fast

The new InfinityBook Pro 14 combines infinite portability in an extremely compact and lightweight, yet robust and high-quality all-aluminum chassis with a bright, razor-sharp 3K display, a very large 80 Wh battery, high processing speed thanks to either AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and full memory upgrade options (2x SO-DIMM RAM, 2x M.2 SSD).

High-quality aluminum chassis in an infinitely compact form factor

The completely redesigned Linux subnotebook makes a material change from its predecessor’s extremely light plastics / magnesium chassis to a more robust and haptically first-class, but at the same time almost as light (1.47 kg) and fashionably ultra-slim (17 mm) all-aluminum chassis.

On a footprint of just 311 x 220 mm, the InfinityBook Pro 14 not only integrates a quiet, white backlit keyboard, but also gives customers the choice between the european, classic ISO and the ANSI keyboard layout commonly used in the US.

Under the light metal hood, two 7 mm thin fans and heatpipes keep the device quiet and cool under low load or provide the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H / AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS with a constant power level of up to 60 watts and 54 watts respectively at full fan speed.

Power efficient yet fast: CPU from Intel or AMD

Speaking of CPUs: In terms of the central processing unit, customers have the choice between two power-efficient yet fast upper mid-range models from Intel and AMD:

While the Ryzen 7 8845HS relies on 8 cores manufactured in highly modern 4 nm architecture to process up to 16 threads simultaneously, the Core Ultra 7 155H from “Team Blue” counters the attack with 6 performance-optimized performance cores, 8 energy-saving efficiency cores and now also 2 particularly power-saving low-power efficiency cores for a total of 22 threads.

Despite or because of its extremely thin 17 mm chassis (monitor + keyboard + actual enclosure), the InfinityBook Pro 14 supplies Intel’s processor with up to 60 watts continuously using the maximum fan speed; the AMD version is limited at 54 watts by the manufacturer’s design.

Fast and power-saving integrated graphics for work and (light) play

Graphics rendering and image output are done by graphics processors integrated into the CPUs in the form of the Intel Arc graphics or AMD Radeon 780M.

While specifications differ quite a bit on paper (Intel: 8 cores | 2.25 GHz, AMD: 12 cores | 2.7 GHz), both power-saving GPUs perform on a similar level, deliver way more than enough speed for all everyday tasks and allow light casual gaming in Full HD with low to medium graphics settings in current, averagely demanding titles.

Bright and razor-sharp 14-inch 3K display

The InfinityBook Pro 14 features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels which - distributed on screen area of 302 x 188 mm - achieve an outstanding pixel density of 243 ppi (pixels per inch), making the liquid crystal dots invisibly small from a usual viewing distance and let appear text and photos as if they were printed.

Combined with the space-efficient 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB color gamut, the 120 Hz fast, viewing angle stable IPS screen fulfills sophisticated demands for work and multimedia use, while the brightness of 400 nits ensures good legibility in bright indoor or outdoor environments.

The up to 180° tiltable display lid offers maximum flexibility for all kind of laptop stands while the privacy webcam shutter prevents unauthorized access to the 1080p webcam.

80 Wh battery, USB4, USB-C charging and up to 96 GB DDR5 RAM

The InfinityBook Pro 14’s design philosophy is focussed on a maximally small, thin and light form factor. Despite its dual fan system for adequate cooling, two upgradeable RAM modules and also two SSD storage slots, the Linux subnotebook still accommodates an 80 Wh battery under the hood. It provides the InfinityBook Pro 14 with up to 8 hours (Intel) / 10 hours (AMD) during local video playback.

When the battery is running low, the ultra portable business laptop can charged via both USB-C ports using a handy, very lightweight 100-watt power supply.

Speaking of ports: Up to 3 external monitors can be connected to the Linux notebook via Thunderbolt 4 (Intel) / USB4 (AMD), USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and HDMI 2.1. On the data side, 3x USB Type-A as well as a full-size card reader and a LAN port are on board, which is not a matter of course in laptops this thin.

On the storage side, the InfinityBook Pro 14 offers each two easily accessible and upgradeable slots for up to 96 GB (up to 64 GB: 5600 MHz; up to 96 GB: 4800 MHz) RAM and 2x 4 Terabytes of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

Available for pre-order now! Shipping starts mid/end of August.
