The TUXEDO InfinityFlex 14 is a versatile 3-in-1 Linux convertible that impresses with its flexibility and technical features. It can be used as a classic notebook, in presentation mode or as a large tablet. With a weight of just 1.5 kg and a part-aluminum housing, the device not only offers mobility, but also solid performance and long battery life. The bright, matte 14-inch touchscreen in 16:10 format supports both finger and pen operation and adapts optimally to use depending on the mode. The option to expand the RAM and SSD memory is particularly attractive, as is the flexible access via 4G mobile communications.

The InfinityFlex 14 can be used in various modes, making it ideal for different requirements: In notebook mode, it is ideal for productive work, while the presentation and film mode as well as the tablet mode, are particularly impressive for visual and creative applications. The display resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and 100% sRGB colour space coverage ensure a brilliant image that is also clearly visible outdoors. With an Intel Core i5 processor, up to 64 GB RAM and numerous connections, the device is powerful and versatile. The InfinityFlex 14 can now be pre-ordered for 1189 euros, with delivery starting in mid-September. A pressure-sensitive stylus is available as an option.

The company touts this dextrous new device as ‘the first 3-in-1 Linux convertible’, with its 360-degree hinge1 allow the touch-enabled 14-inch display to flip back into tablet mode, or be folded into ‘touch monitor’ mode for, er, watching movies I guess… Still, there’s plenty more to TUXEDO’s InfinityFlex 14 than its flippin’ screen.

We might not be able to answer questions about third party hardware or software. For questions about popular open source software (Thunderbird, Filezilla...) please contact a forum e.g. ubuntuforums.org. The research effort for application specific setup is immense and not manageable at the current time. Basic compatibility questions e.g. are of course still welcome!
